The second annual Lighthouse International Film Festival will host a fundraising event celebrating the spirit of Independent Film.

The event will be held at Daddy O’s on Friday, April 23rd from 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm. Tickets are $35 per person and include food, wine, speakers and door prizes.

The evening will feature the announcement of the films selected for this year’s festival along with their movie trailers. Many of the films for this year’s event are straight from Caanes, Sundance and South by Southwest. In addition to the announcement of the film lineup, the event will celebrate the history of Independent Film and highlight some of the Spirit Award films of the past.  The Spirit Awards are the highest honor bestowed on Independent Films, the equivalent of the Academy’s Oscars.

Join us as we get a preview of the films for this year’s Lighthouse International Film Festival and celebrate the “Spirit” of Independent Film. The event will be held at Daddy O’s, 44th Street and Long Beach Blvd., Brant Beach, 609-494-1300 from 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm. All proceeds from the event support the Lighthouse International Film Festival, a 501©3 non profit organization.
