Lighthouse International Film Festival
June 4 - 6, 2010
The second annual Lighthouse International Film Festival will host a fundraising event celebrating the spirit of Independent Film.
The event will be held at Daddy O’s on Friday, April 23rd from 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm. Tickets are $35 per person and include food, wine, speakers and door prizes.
The evening will feature the announcement of the films selected for this year’s festival along with their movie trailers. Many of the films for this year’s event are straight from Caanes, Sundance and South by Southwest. In addition to the announcement of the film lineup, the event will celebrate the history of Independent Film and highlight some of the Spirit Award films of the past.The Spirit Awards are the highest honor bestowed on Independent Films, the equivalent of the Academy’s Oscars.
Join us as we get a preview of the films for this year’s Lighthouse International Film Festival and celebrate the “Spirit” of Independent Film. 2009 Lighthouse International Film Festival Held June 4 - 7, 09
The 2009 Lighthouse International Film Festival was held on June 4 - 7, 09 with 50 films from around the world showcased at 8 Long Beach Island, NJ locations.
This was Long Beach Island's first year for The Lighthouse International Film Festival and the annual event will be one of the largest LBI attractions in future years.
The festival offered 4 days of feature films on LBI to entertain and delight movie fans. These new feature films came from around the world, half of them documentaries and was shown the following Long Beach Island locations:
Barnegat Lighthouse Visitor's Center, Beach Stadium 5, Harvey Cedars Bible Conference, LBI Foundation for the Arts and Sciences, LBI Museum, St. Francis Community Center, Surf City Library and Surflight Theatre.
