4th ANNUAL BARNEGAT BAY DAY & GO GREEN EXPO
Dear Barnegat Bay Supporter:
On Thursday, July 8, 2010, the Science Committee of the Long Beach Island Foundation of the Arts and Sciences will host our 4th ANNUAL BARNEGAT BAY DAY & GO GREEN EXPO from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
During each of the past two years, over 1,000 Southern Ocean County residents and visitors attended this event celebrating our bay’s heritage while promoting eco-friendly living as a fun learning experience for all ages.
For the first time this year, children from the LBIF’s summer youth camp will also be participating in this event during their final hour of camp and we’ll be encouraging their parents to come for lunch and visit our exhibitors’ and vendors’ booths.
Also for the first time in 2010, we’ve devised a multimedia promotional plan for this event using online, radio, display ads, printed flyers, road signs, and banners. Because the event will occur during the Fourth of July vacation week, the LBIF anticipates a great increase in attendance for this summer’s event.
BARNEGAT BAY DAY & GO GREEN EXPO continues to attract a diverse group of vendors and exhibitors, which has been increasing every year. To help cover this year’s advertising costs, we are requesting a nominal, non-refundable donation by for-profit vendors of $50 per table. See the enclosed registration form for more details.
We welcome your participation in the 4th ANNUAL BARNEGAT BAY DAY & GO GREEN EXPO. We are excited about the event’s growing scope and look forward to it being an important and fun learning experience with lasting effects in our community.
