There are At Least 70 Handicap Ramps On Long Beach Island, NJ to allow the handicapped, elderly, or people who have trouble walking easier access to the Beautiful LBI beaches.

What Is A Beach Wheel?
A LBI Beach Wheel is an outdoor PVC chair with very big wheels. It helps people who are disabled, injured, or have a hard time walking still be able to enjoy the LBI beach by being wheeled right onto the beach and in the ocean.
LBI Beach Wheel To Help The Disabled
The Beach Wheels Program was first introduced to Long Beach Island by Don Myers, the Long Beach Township Beach Patrol Supervisor in 1992.
The Beach Wheels on LBI cost about $1,600 each - and are generously donated by people and organizations to be used Free Of Charge. They are in big demand on LBI, so make your reservations early by asking each town how to reserve a Free LBI Beach Wheel by calling:
