Hurricane Warning
A warning that sustained winds of 74 MPH or higher are expected in a specified coastal area within 24 hours or less.
Hurricane Categories
Category I - - Winds 74 - 95 mph
Category II - - Winds 96 - 110 mph
Category III - - Winds 111 - 130 mph
Category IV - - Winds 131 - 155 mph
Category V - - Winds In Excess Of 155 mph
