Long Beach Island, NJ Chowderfest Fun With 15,000 People
Saturday October 1, 2011 Is Merchant's Mart From 10 am - 4 pm
Merchant's Mart at Chowderfest is a big flea market where Long Beach Island stores try to sell ALL of their products so they don't have to take it back to the store and keep it in stock all winter. It is a lot of fun to find great bargains at Merchant's Mart.
Sunday October 2, 2011 Is The Fun Chowderfest from 11 am - 4 pm (Early V.I.P. entry is at 10 am)
At Chowderfest 16 area restaurants from Long Beach Island and the mainland cook up their best chowder and serve it to 15,000 people who then vote on the winners. There are bands, beer truck, vendors, etc. It is a lot of fun - see you there.
